Description
Living in temperate rainforests, the flying leafworm perches on twigs high in the canopy, basking in the sun to feed their symbiotic algae. The algae also provides the flatworms with camouflage. They are descended from freshwater planarians, which have adapted to gliding using a triangle-shaped body and more complex eyes. Their cerebral ganglion is larger, too, which allows them to make quick decisions while gliding. Another interesting adaptation is their gut, as its two posterior branches are shaped to fill the wings. Two tubes extend from the head to the wingtips, which are used to transfer oxygen throughout the body. Otherwise, they still have no adaptations to allow gas exchange, so they still need to be flat so that oxygen can diffuse throughout their entire body.

A very "flat" worm indeed(lol).
In all sincerity, most impressive.
