Forest Floor

As you may have noticed, I haven't been doing much on the planet Tregama recently, so I made this section of the typical forest floor on Tregama. The greenish floating creature is a chitis, using its elongated nostril to suck hydrogen out of a floating spore pod that hasn't ripened yet. The chitis have the role of birds and flying insects in their ecosystem. The radial rolling creature on the ground is a daddy long-legs roller, using its elongated mandibles as legs to maneuver the areas of the ground which aren't flat. They are carnivorous, spearing small animals with their legs. There are also some sponge organisms, a creature similar to fungi but with their cells arranged differently. They can look like sea sponges, pancakes or flowers, and are often luminous. Some of the plants in this picture are parasitic, like the taller ones on the left, and some are capable of producing hydrogen-filled bladders, like the taller ones on the right. Others are mossy, with their red leaves capable of photosynthesizing their star's light which is filtered through a thick, green sky that's full of floating plants.
